About the Opportunity
OECD internships aim to bring curious and motivated students from diverse backgrounds into the Organisation to support the work of the OECD. It is an opportunity for successful candidates to work alongside policy experts and other specialists and build on their analytical and technical skills in an international environment.

Eligibility
- Enrolled in a full-time accredited degree programme (Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree) for the duration of internship in field or discipline related to work of the OECD
- Have an excellent command of one of the two official languages of the OECD (English and French) and a working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the other. Knowledge of other languages could be an advantage
- Have good quantitative, IT skills and drafting and communication skills
- Thrive in a multicultural and international team environment
Duration
- Period between one and six months (renewable up to a total of twelve months), on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).
- In exceptional, part-time internships (minimum 20 hours per week) can be organised.
- The OECD encourages potential interns to pursue an internship of at least four months to make the best of their internship experience at the OECD.
Application Procedure
The application consists of two parts, the basic application information (you will be asked to provide your personal data as well as information related to your past academic and work experience) and a set of screening questions used to determine the eligibility of candidates. A resume must be attached to the application. The two points to be taken note to includes:
- The purpose of the cover letter (‘Message to Hiring Manager’ in the application form) is to gain insight on the reasons why you would like to intern at the OECD, have an idea of how you would contribute to our work and understand in what way an internship at the OECD would help you achieve your career goals. Limit your response to 3500 characters including spaces.
- Before submitting application, ensure all fields are entered correctly. All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. At least one entry must be saved under the sections ‘Experience’ as well as ‘Education’.
