About the Programme

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Technology and Crime: Aligning New Criminal Laws with the Dynamic Field of Cybercrimes in India” is designed to provide legal educators, researchers, and professionals with a critical and contemporary understanding of how emerging technologies are transforming the landscape of crime and criminal justice. This programme explores the intersection of technology and crime in light of India’s new criminal laws—Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA). The programme will bridge the gap between technological advancements and legal education by engaging participants in in-depth discussions, case studies, policy evaluations, and teaching methodologies relevant to the digital age.
