Scopus Journal Call for paper: International Journal of Clothing Science and Technology (Functional and Structural Innovations in Technical Textiles)

The proposed special issue aims to highlight emerging advances and interdisciplinary perspectives in technical textile research, bringing together innovative studies that explore the evolving relationship between materials, functionality, processing technologies, and sustainable engineering approaches. Inspired by the scientific exchange fostered during the 9th International Technical Textiles Congress (ITTC9), the issue seeks to showcase forward-looking contributions addressing both fundamental and applied challenges across the textile field.

Covering topics such as advanced yarn and fabric structures, protective and high-performance textiles, sustainable dyeing and finishing technologies, multifunctional materials, recycling approaches, thermal management systems, high-performance coatings, and emerging manufacturing techniques including melt spinning, wet spinning, and additive manufacturing, the special issue intends to provide a platform for pioneering research shaping the future of technical textiles. By encouraging collaboration between academia and industry, the issue aspires to stimulate scientific dialogue, foster interdisciplinary interaction, and contribute to the next wave of innovation in textile science and technology.
