Concept:
Intellectual Property is a creation of Human mind. When the innovation /invention is registered and rights are vested in the creator, it becomes property .But the property remains dormant until it is applied in the business/industries. Since, the innovators/creators may not have entrepreneurial competency, in this situation, investment is demanded and technology is transferred. But the pace of industrialisation remains as it is. Licensing and Assignment are essential tools for commercialisation. .But entrepreneurship is also more important in the application of these tools for commercialisation. This requires awareness cum capacity building programs amongst the business aspirants. Keeping these objectives in mind, CIRF and CIPAM are jointly organising this programme to inculcate entrepreneurial skill for the Commercialisation of Intellectual Property Right.
