About the College

KLE College of Law, Kalamboli was established in the year 2016, with the vision of furnishing law aspirants with comprehensive, analytical, and practical legal knowledge, in order to produce intellect striving for all-around excellence. The college strives to provide a platform to the students to imbibe the pragmatic skills of law. The college provides five years BLS LL.B and three years LL.B Courses. The College also provides Certificate Courses in Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Human Rights, and English Language.

About the Client Counseling Competition

The Client Counseling Competition promotes greater knowledge and interest among law students in the preventative law and counseling functions of law practice. It also encourages students to develop interviewing, planning, and analytical skills in the lawyer-client relationship in the law office. Interviewing and advising is a significant part of most lawyer’s work. Too often, it is assumed that lawyers have the listening and questioning skills needed to conduct an effective interview. Regrettably, not all lawyers possess these skills. The Competition provides an opportunity for a valuable, educational, and cultural interchange between students, law teachers, and legal practitioners.

Theme

The theme of the Competition is a wide range of laws consisting of Civil Law, Criminal Law, Domestic Violence, International Arbitration, Consumer Law, and other codified and uncodified laws relating to the themes.
