NOTIFICATION FOR Ph.D. ENTRANCE TEST: Dated: Sunday, the 23rd May 2021 (CHANAKYA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, PATNA [C N L U])

Applications are invited for admission to the following Doctoral Programs in CNLU Session: 2021-22

ADMISSIONS TO LL.D., Ph. D. IN LAW, Ph. D. IN SOCIAL SCIENCES WITH LAW, Ph. D IN SCIENCE OR

ALLIED SUBJECTS WITH Law; Ph.D. IN Social Sciences (Political Science; History; Economics; Sociology; Management; Ph.D. IN Humanities (English Literature); and D.Phil. – GENERAL

Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed (a) Master Degree from a recognised University in the discipline in which they are making application for Ph.D. Program, with a minimum of 55% marks or 50% marks in case of reserved candidates in the aggregate .and (b) passed by securing minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in the Ph. D. ENTRANCE TEST conducted by the University shall be eligible for Enrolment in the Ph.D. Programme, subject to successfully completing the Course work and passing the exam as per UGC Regulations 2016. Mere appearance at Entrance does not guarantee admission. Candidates qualified in UGC NET and JRF also should qualify in ENTRANCE TEST for enrolment in Ph.D. Programme.

(Persons appearing for Master/PG Examinations are also eligible to appear for Entrance Test/Admission subject to passing the said Examination with 55% Marks or 50% in case of reserved candidates in the aggregate at the time of interview.)

[Those who are employed anywhere need not to apply unless they submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective employer clearly mentioned that the applicant/candidate will be granted/allowed six months to one year leave for Ph.D. Course Work. Without such certificate the application shall be rejected and the fee shall not be refunded. Further if any candidate is found that the forged certificate has been submitted at any period of time before or after admission, his/her admission shall be cancelled at any time and penalised as well. The Candidates are advised not to call and embarrass The Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor, Registrar, Dean Research and Development, on this issue before or after the admission process.]

Application Form can be downloaded from the website of the University (www.cnlu.ac.i n ) and submitted with relevant documents and Bank draft only for Rs. 5000/-(Rs. Five Thousand only) in favour of Registrar, Chanakya National Law University, Patna payable at Patna within stipulated date. The Filled in Application Form should reach to the University on or before 30th April 2021 on the Address by Post: To, The Registrar , Chanakya National Law University, Nyaya Nagar, Mithapur, Patna- 800001.

Provisional admissions to Ph.D., D. Phil. General and LL.D. Programme is subject to verification of all relevant original documents at the time of interview or interaction

VENUE OF ENTRANCE TEST: CHANAKYA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, MITHAPUR, PATNA (No request shall be

entertained for the change of examination venue. Examination shall be conducted in Physical mode only. The candidate shall submit health declaration (Corona) before the entry of the exam hall, otherwise they shall not be allowed to enter halls of exam. No request of any special exam shall be entertained.
