Scopus Call for Papers : Special issue on Risk and Resilience Paradigm for sustainable development

Risk is central in the context of disaster risk reduction and resilience building. Element of risk is playing an important role for the resilience building at various levels. An element at risk can be an individual human being (man, woman or child); critical facilities or infrastructure such as roads, bridges, water system, or crops, trees, livestock, wild animals, ecosystem; biodiversity, livelihood, systems and structures. 

The Special Issue “Risk and Resilience Paradigm for sustainable development” in Progress in Disaster Science is expected to provide paradigm multi-disciplinary and multi-sectoral aspects of disaster risk and resilience and connect existing data, research, conceptual work and practical cases on disaster risk management and its linkage with sustainable development.

The research focusing on the various aspects of risk identifications, assessment, minimization, adaptation and approaches to build the resilience will be encourages to submit a paper following the instructions of the journal. The submission of the paper for special issue will be through the 2nd International Symposium of Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development (24-25 June, 2021) and by invitation from the Guest Editors.
