IILM Law School Gurugram is proud to announce that it is organizing One Week Multi-Disciplinary Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Multi-disciplinary Approaches in Social & Legal Issues from 12th July -16th July 2021.
At IILM University, we provide research-oriented global legal education with five year integrated courses in BA LLB (Hons) as well as a one year postgraduate LLM program. We have tie-ups with international law universities, reputed NGOs, Corporate Houses and Law Firms to give an extensive exposure to our students. The school has recognition from the Bar Council of India & the University Grants Commission.
ABOUT THE FDP
Human beings have traversed a long way in their journey from primitive caves till space. This journey of human race has been marked by constant endeavour to advance in all possible fields with an intent to tackle the challenges which a dynamic society constantly possess during its process of evolution and growth. All the achievements which human beings have attained can be attributed to their innate curiosity, inquisitiveness, and a desire to have a better quality of life marked by peace and posterity. As a result, today our modern society is full of magnificent inventions which have adequately dealt with social and legal challenges in the past. However the society is perpetually evolving, consistently raising new issues and challenges which need to be addressed immediately.
Academically our progress is par excellence. But still, we have to go a long way. Apart from scientific developments and inventions, the concept of globalization, liberalization, post modernism, cybernism have given rise to many problems and challenges. All these problems are peculiar and enormous innature. They are the subject matter of various disciplines. Evidently, a solution to these problems cannot be reached at with the help of research in only one discipline. This overlapping leads to a strange situation, because these problems demand assistance, co- operation and involvement of all the diverse disciplines. In an era of increasing academic engagement that includes several disciplines under one subject, it is imperative to understand the nuances of multidisciplinary research. Therefore, this FDP aims
at addressing certain key social and legal issues by adopting a multidisciplinary approach.
