Notification: Inviting Expression of Interest for Seeking Admission under the Sports Category for UG (LL.B.) Programme for the Academic Year 2021-22.
ABOUT:
Gujarat National Law University invites application for admission under sports category from the outstanding players who have represented at International/National level in the registered tournaments organized by the Central or State Government or by any authority recognized by Central or State Government. The admission is available for UG programme offered by the University. The candidates appearing in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) – 2021 and who are interested in seeking admission under the Sports Quota Category for LL.B. Programme, subject to satisfying eligibility criteria and fulfilling all of the below mentioned conditions can apply directly to the University.
- Number of Seats:
UG Programme (LL.B.) – 4 (Girls:2/Boys:2) - Eligibility Conditions:
a) A candidate seeking admission under sports category shall have appeared in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and secure minimum 40% of the highest score of the CLAT–2021. For example, if the CLAT–2021 highest score is 150, then the candidates who have secured minimum of 60 marks or above are eligible for admission under this category.
b) A candidate shall have represented at International/National level in the registered tournaments organized by Central or State Government or by any authority recognized by Central or State Government in the above-mentioned games. The Certificate issued/approved by School Games Federation of India (SGFI)/Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in the relevant game shall only be considered.
c) The applicant as per their age must be eligible to participate in Inter-University Competitions for the next three years.
3. Application and Fees:
The candidates, who are interested in seeking admission under the Sports Quota for UG Programmes, subject to satisfying eligibility conditions, can apply directly by filling the ‘Admission (Expression of Interest) Form for Sports Quota available on GNLU website. The hard copy of the filled-in admission (Expression of Interest) form along with all the relevant certificates shall reach the University through post latest by 31 August, 2021.
