Cfp for law students- ILNU’s Centre for Corporate Law Studies-Volume 5, Issue 1-Last Date to Submit-Nov 15 2021

The Institute’s Centre for Corporate Law Studies is an effort aiming at institutionalising and channelling research on corporate and business-related issues that occur both nationally and globally. The Centre seeks to provide the necessary motivation by instilling in future corporate professionals a willingness to challenge many elements of business and its interaction with society.

The Centre for Corporate Research Law Publication (CRLJ), an open access, annual, peer-reviewed journal, is an initiative of the Centre for Corporate Law Studies at Nirma University’s Institute of Law. The complexities of the business world have multiplied many times over, with advancements occurring on a national and international scale every hour.

Eligibility Criteria

Academicians, Professionals, legal researchers, and students are eligible to send in their legal write-ups.

RELEVANT GUIDELINES TO BE ADHERED

Research Papers: This category should consist of a well-researched paper that discusses and analyses major developments or concerns relating to the theme. The author must identify holes in present financial law practises and attempt to suggest solutions. This should be accompanied with an abstract of no more than 200 words. The word limit is between 5,000 and 8,000 words.

Short Articles: In this area, you should address fresh ideas, recent developments, or any old issues that are linked to the theme. It should be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 200 words. The word count for the same is between 3,000 and 4,000 words.

Book Reviews: This should include a brief evaluation of the book written by the author from his or her point of view. The word limit is between 1,000 and 2,000 words.


Essays: These should address topics of interest to legal academics in the field of financial law. It should be written in an acceptable tone and structure for the peer audience. The word count for this is 2,000–3,000 words.


Case Comments: This should include a brief description of the facts, an analysis of the important issues, and a summary of the case’s pertinent findings. The word limit is between 1,500 and 3,000 words.

  • All works must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. All submitted articles will be scrutinised for plagiarism.
  • Submissions that are plagiarised will be refused for publication. The authors must rigorously adhere to the requirement of citing their sources.

  • Submissions that go beyond the word limit will be rejected.

  • A maximum of two authors will be permitted to co-author.
  • All manuscripts must be written in English and submitted in that language only. The language used must be official and clear, conforming to the Journal’s submission guidelines and including a declaration that the work is an original and unpublished work of the authors.
  • The full names of all writers, as well as their designations and contact number(s), must be provided.
    Submissions should be sent by email to [email protected] with the subject line ‘Name CRLJ 2021′.

  • The name(s) of the author(s), contact number, academic qualifications, institutional affiliation, title of the paper, and a declaration that the manuscript is an original and previously unpublished work of the author must be included in the body of the email.

NOTE:-The submission must be in MS Word format and cannot be submitted in any other format. Manuscripts sent in PDF, other formats, or hard copy will be rejected. Any questions or concerns should be directed to the supplied email address.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Main Text: Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 spacing, justified, with a margin-left 1.5 inch and right 1.0 inch, top 1inch and bottom 1 inch.
  • Foot Notes: Times New Roman, font size 10. Substantive footnotes are accepted.
  • Citation: Bluebook: A Uniform Method of Citation, 21st Edition shall be strictly adhered to.
