The Northern Kentucky Law Review at Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law invites submissions for its symposium issue: Artificial Intelligence & The Law. The deadline for submissions is February 7, 2022.
The Northern Kentucky Law Review at Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law is currently soliciting speakers, articles, and abstracts for its symposium issue: Artificial Intelligence & The Law. Topics may include artificial intelligence regulations, the use of artificial intelligence in the criminal justice system, digital surveillance, facial recognition technologies, or any other timely issue regarding artificial intelligence. As such, we are calling for articles and abstract proposals from a broad group, including professors, fellows, practitioners, judges, and scholars in related fields.
This year’s symposium will be held on March 25, 2022. We are currently offering speakers a $500 honorarium and an additional $500 to those who write for our symposium issue. All transportation, meals and lodging will be provided by Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law. The university neighbors Cincinnati, Ohio, and is within 15 minutes of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Regarding symposium articles, we request that each finished article contain approximately 5,000–15,000 words, and the first draft will be due February 7, 2022. Interested authors or speakers should email a current curriculum vitae to the Northern Kentucky Law Review Editor-in-Chief Sarah Benedict at [email protected] with the subject line “NKLR Symposium Issue.” For those who wish to write an article, we request that you send an article or abstract proposal by October 15, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
