About the IBPS
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a recruitment body that was started with an aim to encourage the recruitment and placement of young graduates in public sector banks in India. It also provides standardized systems for the assessment and result processing services to organizations.
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct an online exam for the next Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).
About the Opportunity
Applications are now open for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) by IBPS for the selection of personnel in Specialist Officers cadre posts (Law Officer-Scale 1) in the participating banks.
The online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process (CRP) by IBPS for selection of personnel in Specialist Officers cadre posts (as in the official notification) in the participating banks is tentatively scheduled in December 2021/January 2022.

Eligibility
I. Nationality / Citizenship: A candidate must be either:
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
II. Age (As on November 1, 2021):
Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 30 years
*A candidate must have been born not earlier than November 2, 1991, and not later than November 1, 2001 (both dates inclusive)
III. Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council
Note: Candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/Institute.

STEP 1: Register by entering your basic information in the online application form.
After that, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using the provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars if needed.
STEP 2: Filling up the online application form
Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application form themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application form will be possible/entertained.
Prior to submission of the online application, form candidates are advised to use the COMPLETE REGISTRATION facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on FINAL SUBMIT Button.
