For the 2021/2022 academic year, at the University of Mediterranean Studies of Reggio Calabria, on the proposal of the Department of Law, Economics and Human Sciences (DiGiES), the II level international university Master in “EUROPEAN PRIVATE LAW , ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS “(hereinafter referred to as” Master “), lasting one year, organized in collaboration with university professors from 25 foreign universities (Sorbonne, Queen Mary University of London, Luxembourg, Lisbon, Madrid, Seville, Granada, Strasbourg, Brussels, Krakow, Rzeszów, Katowice, Zagreb, Vilnius, Riga, Bucharest, Braşov Moscow, Coimbra, Buenos Aires, Aracaju, San Paolo, Medellín, Lima, Melbourne), at the end of which, as follows described,the title of second level University Master is awarded.
The purpose of the Master is to train a European jurist, an expert above all in the civil law sector and new technologies, able to operate with competence in the institutions of the Union or in other supranational bodies, within the Public Administration, within the offices of the Regions. and local authorities or as a lawyer – specialized in European issues and related to intelligent systems – in the context of a company or in the freelance profession, in every part of Europe. The wide-ranging international training will allow the students to learn about winning, foreign legal experiences and models and to engage in comparative analysis and joint studies on various practical issues with which the professionals of the future will necessarily have to deal with. The presence of Visiting professors from some of the most prestigious European universities, the study trip to European institutions and the intensive courses in legal English, IT for the European lawyer and Europlanning will make the training of those enrolled in the Master even more solid and competitive. And the internships abroad will allow candidates to acquire profound practical skills and to come into contact with European countries and bodies, towards which it will be possible to direct their job application.
