IILM Law School Gurugram is proud to announce that it is organizing the One Week Multi-Disciplinary Faculty Development Program (FDP) on The Multi-Dimensions of Justice: Law & Beyond from 18th July to 23rd July 2022.
The legal profession is dynamic in nature and it is not what it was a decade ago. Interdisciplinary study allows for synthesis of ideas and characteristics from many disciplines. This interplay of various disciplines plays an important role in the field of law. Thus, legal profession can’t operate in isolation. By obtaining a clear understanding of distinct problems with roots in multiple disciplines requires the capacity to integrate ideas and this skill is advanced by interdisciplinary learning.
Today, Lawyers and academicians are bent towards blended learning and research with other disciplines is
witnessed. It is often believed that the one who studies law with other allied subjects has an edge in developing
cognitive skills and advanced critical analytical thinking as it certainly helps to open up new areas and look across
boundaries to consider dierent viewpoints. Such approach not only motivates the learner but also guides him
to pursue topics in which he/she has vested interest. As a result, the learning becomes purposeful and
meaningful since one is able to relate law with real-world context having its wings spread out in various other
multi-dimensional disciplines.

About The FDP
IILM Law School is organizing a One week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) which aims to provide the
participants a platform where they can acquire knowledge about contemporary and interdisciplinary
developments that are taking place in various specialized fields of law. The FDP will be an interactive and inclusive programme and will shed light on existing and upcoming cross-curriculum areas. This Faculty Development
