Duties and Responsibilities
The UCL Faculty of Population Health Sciences (FPHS) brings together eight academic departments whose common aim is to explore and understand the underlying factors that cause ill-health, and innovate to improve health worldwide. We have recently reorganised our Education Administration and Student Experience (EASE) team across the Faculty and have formed new hubs to support our different types of students: Postgraduate Taught (PGT); Postgraduate Research (PGR); Undergraduate/Online; UCL East.
We are looking to fill up to five new roles in our Postgraduate Taught hubs. These positions will support student recruitment and the admissions process on designated programmes, welcome new students and answer programme-related queries during the year, provide support for teaching on specific programmes, help with various assessment tasks, and maintain programme and student records.
There are five posts available, four at 1FTE and one at 0.8FTE. Please state which you are applying for in your application.
Key Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C or above (including Mathematics and English Language) or equivalent, or similar relevant work experience. They must have worked in a busy office environment, preferably within higher education.
We expect applicants to be computer literate, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work to deadlines. They should be able to produce accurate records and deal with high volumes of processing. They will work cooperatively with their team members and learn new systems quickly.
