Manipal University Jaipur is organizing 8th Manipal Ranka International Moot Court Competition from October 1st to 2nd through hybrid mode in association with an Institutional Partner, Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Malaysia, Knowledge Partner SCC Online and Eastern Book Company. It is seeking registrations from the law students across the nation and round the world.
About the University
Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), Rajasthan, India is a co-educational, residential, private research university located in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. School of Law, MUJ was started in the year 2014 has grown in leaps and bounds and has a strength of 700+ students at present. The MUJ forayed into the field of legal education by introducing Integrated BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB(Hons), Bachelor of Law (LLB), Master of Law (LLM), and Ph.D. programs in the study. Ranka Public Charitable Trust
The Trust was set up by Late Dr. N.M. Ranka, Senior Advocate in the year 1980. The Trust has pioneered the concept of Moot Court Competitions in the State of Rajasthan and we take pleasure in announcing 8th Manipal Ranka International Moot Court Competition 2022. Justice J.K. About the Competition
The School of Law, Manipal University Jaipur is committed to the evolution of law as an instrument of social change, efforts are being made to expose students to practical realities. The teaching methods adopted for the programs offered involve lectures, discussions, case studies, Moot Courts, and project work that facilitates students to promote multi-disciplinary inquiry and practical appreciation of problems. With the same intention it takes great pleasure for School of Law, Manipal University Jaipur to organize the 8th Manipal-Ranka International Moot Court Competition 2022 on 1st – 2nd October 2022 in association with an Institutional partner, Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Malaysia, Knowledge partner SCC Online and Eastern Book Company. In this regard, we solicit your cooperation by taking part in the Moot Court Competition.
Eligibility
· The competition is open for bonafide students pursuing five-year or three-year LLB programme from the recognised University or Institute.
· Each Law College/ University shall be eligible to send one team.
· The students from different Universities/institutes are not allowed to form an Inter-College, Team.
Team Composition
Each team shall comprise of three (3) members ONLY i.e. Two (2) speakers and one (1) researcher. The role of the participants shall remain the same throughout the competition.
Registration Process
· The willing teams who want to participate in the Competition are required to register for the same via the online registration form as provided at the end of this post.

· A registration fee of Rs. INR 6000 (National Participants through Physical Mode) and Rs. Price and Awards
· Winning Team Award: The winning team will receive a trophy, a cash prize, one-year academic subscription to SCC Online Web Edition worth Rs. 27,000 and one-year subscription to EBC Learning worth Rs. 14,500.
· Runners-Up Award: The 1st runners up will get a trophy, a cash prize, one-year academic subscription to SCC Online Web Edition worth Rs. 27,000 and one-year subscription to EBC Learning worth Rs. 14,500.
· Best Speaker Award: Best Speaker will get a trophy, a cash prize and one-year subscription to EBC Learning worth Rs. 14,500.
· Best Memorial Award: Best memorial awardee will get a trophy, a cash prize one-year academic subscription to SCC Online Web Edition worth Rs. 27,000.
· Certificate for participation will be given to all the participants.
Location
The competition will be held in the Hybrid Mode from Our Campus at Manipal University Jaipur and through the Online platform via MS Teams.
