About Law Mantra Trust: “Law Mantra” (headquarters New Delhi) (Registration No 150 in Book No.4 Vol No 3, 603 0f 2018) is not for profit organization running for the purpose of enhancing legal academics and legal awareness in society and in the practice of the same.
About Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur: Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur (MNLU) (also known as National Law University, Nagpur or NLU Nagpur) is a National Law University and a public law institution established by the government through a public enactment as the Maharashtra National Law University Act (Maharashtra Act No. VI of 2014). The university is the 19th National Law University established in India and is located in the Orange City of Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Faculty of Law and Administration,Jagiellonian University: Faculty of Law and Administration is the oldest unit of the Jagiellonian University. In 1364, when the University was established, 8 out of 11 chairs were devoted to legal sciences. At present, the faculty is recognised as the best law faculty in Poland with the best bar passage rates and one of the finest in Central Europe. In 1851 the first student scientific association in Poland was founded here (TBSP UJ).
Texas A&M University School of Law: Texas A&M University School of Law is an ABA-accredited law school located in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. The law school is a member of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) and offers the Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree through its full-time and part-time programs. Students may also pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) or Master of Legal Studies (M.L.S.) degree either online or in-residence.
Faculty of Law, University of Colombo: The Faculty of Law of the University of Colombo, which is the only Faculty of Law in the entire University system of this country, traces its origin to the Department of Law in the Faculty of Arts of the then University of Ceylon established under the Ceylon University Ordinance No. 20 of 1942. The Department of Law was established in July 1947 under the Faculty of Arts. It was then located in “College House” which was previously known as “Regina Walawwa”, purchased by the government in 1920 for the purpose of setting up the University College, which was the forerunner of the University of Ceylon.
Concept Note:
The Seminar aims to examine and analyze the emerging IP trends, rising consequent disputes and the use of alternate mechanisms such as ADR in tackling such a rise in the quantum of disputes. The International Seminar will be attended by various international delegates and speakers as also representatives from the national Diaspora representing the stakeholders in the digital ecosystem and alive web. These would include representatives from the Central Government & State Governments, various Ministries, Law Enforcement Agencies, Police, businesses, Information Technology, Corporate Sector, Academicians, Scholars, Service Providers, International Organizations and distinguished thought leaders.
Objective
To provide a platform for stakeholders like organizations working at the international and national level, legislatures, civil societies, researchers, practitioners, academicians, activists and policymakers to deliberate and discuss what is required to build strategies and to address the constraints in inclusive practices towards the betterment of the society.
Theme
The Organizing Committee welcomes original papers relating to, but not limited to, the following topics:
- Resolving IP disputes through ADR.
- The Singapore Convention and its opportunities/ implications for IP mediation
- Role of Mediation in IPR (Copyright, Patent, Trademark, Geographical Indication, Traditional Knowledge and Industrial Designs)
- ADR for Digital Copyright and Content Disputes
- ADR for domain names disputes
- ADR and Copyright Litigation
- WIPO and its impact on the use of ADR in Copyright Disputes
- ADR for Patent Disputes
- Use of ADR in B2B digital copyright disputes
- Fashion Industry, IP Rights and ADR
- ADR and IP rights – comparative approaches in multiple jurisdictions
Above mentioned topics are not exhaustive, but other topics can also be accommodated if it’s in line with ADR and IPR.
Procedure for Submission of Abstracts:
- Abstract (of about 250 words) should be sent as an attachment in a word file. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed before they are accepted.
- The following information, in the given format, should be sent along with the Abstract:
- Name of the Participant, Official Designation/Institution Details, Address and Email id, Title of Abstract
- Submit your abstract to[email protected]
Guidelines for Paper Submission:
- The title of the paper should be followed by Name, Designation, Name of the Organization / University / Institution and Email address. It is mandatory to mention your Email address, as all future correspondence will be through it;
- Name and details of Co-author, if any;
- Chapter: The chapter should be in Times New Roman 12-point font and double-spaced. The main Title should be in full capitals, bold and centred 12-point font. Sub-titles should be in sentence case, bold and 12-point font. Author’s names should be in small capitals and centred 12-point font Footnotes should be in Times New Roman 12-point font;
- Citation Format: Please use footnotes rather than endnotes. Footnotes should conform to The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi Style;
- Submission of the abstract: A covering letter with the name(s) of the author(s) and address, designation, institution/affiliation, the title of the manuscript and contact information (email, phone, etc.) is compulsory to submit. All submissions must contain an abstract of not more than 300 words with 5 Minimum Keywords;
- The originality of Manuscripts: All the contributions should be the original work of the contributors and should not have been submitted for consideration in any other Publication. Any plagiarized work will be out-rightly rejected;
- Copyright: The contributions presented to and accepted for publication and the copyrights therein shall be the Intellectual Property of Law Mantra;
- The title of the Chapter should be followed by Name, Designation, Name of the Organization / University / Institution and Email address. It is mandatory to mention your Email address, as all future correspondence will be through it;
- Name and details of Co-author, if any;
- The paper should be typed in MS WORD format (preferably 2007 or 2010);
- The paper must be in single column layout with margins justified on both sides;
- The length of the paper should not be below 4,000 words (including footnotes) and Should not Exceed more than 10,000 (Including Footnotes).
Publication Opportunity
Selected will be published in books bearing ISBN, International Journal of Legal Research and Governance (Print Journal) bearing ISSN and Law Mantra Journal. (If Paper will be Selected for Publication in Book bearing ISBN, Contributors have to Contact Publisher and will have to pay a charge if anyone wishes to procure Hard Copy of Book as per bill raised by Publisher ).

Rules for the Presentation:
- No abstract or full paper shall be accepted after the last date of submission respectively;
- Participants/Paper Presenters have to register after the acceptance of the abstract with payment of required fees;
- For participation, registration is mandatory for confirmation of the participation. Only registered participants will be allowed to take part in Conference;
- All the registered participants will be provided with a participation certificate;
- The event will be hosted through Zoom/Cisco-Webex or any other Online Platform.;
- Technical sessions will be organized through Google Meet/ Zoom/Cisco-Webex or any other Online Platform.
