Annual Social Work and Law National Symposium, Friday September 30, 8:30am-6pm
The 1st Annual Social Work and Law National Symposium is a one-day virtual event bringing together justice-oriented educators, researchers, practitioners, community leaders, and students for synergistic learning collaboration. This event exists to harness energy, passion, and wisdom to advance the field of forensic social work. Those with interest in serving persons involved with the legal system or operate from a cross-disciplinary approach of social work and law are welcome. This year, by connecting together, we are Strengthening Pathways and Partnerships to Advance Empowerment, Justice, and Change!
Join us for a full day of dynamic presenters leading engaging workshops and interactive discussions in key learning areas to include children and families, crime, delinquency, and justice, immigration, forensic education, and so much more!
A registration fee is required for all attendees. Complimentary free student registration space is limited. Student registration discount available once free spaces are filled. Verification needed for student attendees prior to event access.
The symposium will be hosted using Airmeet, a virtual events platform.
