ABOUT GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY, AMRITSAR
Guru Nanak Dev University was established on November 24, 1969 to mark the birth in centenary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. The University upholds the teachings and values of the Guru, the apostle of universal brotherhood, truthfulness, nonviolence, compassion, tolerance, harmony, humanity, who strictly observed moral and ethical values in daily life.
ABOUT DR. B.R AMBEDKAR CHAIR
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair established in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, has a special significance for being at a University named after the first Guru of the Sikh religion whose teachings/preaching’s emphasized the creation of a society based completely on principles of equality and social justice similar to the philosophy of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Dr. B.R Ambedkar popularly known as Babasaheb is the architect of the Constitution of India. The Constitution of India is built on the edifice of equality, liberty and fraternity. The Constitution of India embodies the vision of Dr. Ambedkar to build India in which all sections and communities are politically empowered, socially and economically awakened. The
Constitution of India is the manifestation of the ideals of Dr. Ambedkar in the sphere of religion, culture, social and economic life of the citizens. Dr. Ambedkar is pioneer in the movement of women empowerment, labor classand marginalized sections of the society. The purpose of this National Seminar is to gather researcher and scholars from different parts of the country for discussion on “Dr. Ambedkar’s Economic Vision and Changing Contours of the Constitution of India”. The Constitution of India being organic and living has adapted itself to the changes
taking place in the society. Against this background the purpose to revisit the vision of Dr. Ambedkar amidst the changes taking place at the national, cultural, political, social and economic level.

Contributions are invited from the Academicians, Professionals, Researchers, Advocates, Research Scholars and the Students from law and social sciences background on the above mentioned theme/sub-themes of the seminar. Authors of selected abstracts shall be given an opportunity to present their paper during the National Seminar. Registration Form is to be submitted through GOOGLE FORM- Click here. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• The language of the paper should be English only.
• The Abstract must contain the highlights of the full paper and should not exceed 250
words.
• Author(s) Name(s), University/Organization, Paper Title, Email Address and Mobile
Number to be stated clearly in the cover page of the research paper.
• Paper should not have been published earlier nor should it be under consideration for
publication. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
• Author(s) will be required to fill the Registration Form and Declaration after the selection
