CONCEPT NOTE
Outcome-based legal education aims at endowing students with the capability of applying acquired knowledge and skills in dealing with practical situations. Therefore, curriculum framework, continuous evaluation, research, and collaboration act as a great bridge between the academic and professional world as it exposes students to contemporary problems thereby providing them with an opportunity to resolve them by applying their knowledge and skills.
The National Education Policy, 2020 has duly stressed on the importance of research in the higher educational institutions of India. Amidst the plethora of hindrances in conducting quality research, a lack of sound knowledge of research methodology is quite prominent as it has detrimental effects on the ability of the researcher to conduct meaningful research and produce quality research output. To exacerbate the situation, it is pertinent that researchers are endowed with nuanced knowledge of research methodology.
The National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam is organizing an intensive “One Week Online Short-Term Course on Outcome Based Legal Education and Research” from April 19-23, 2023 to provide interested participants with an opportunity to gain systematic knowledge of outcome-based education and research and thereby hone their research skills. Eminent personalities from prestigious universities across India shall engage the sessions.

ELIGIBILITY
The course is open to academicians, professionals as well as students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.
REGISTRATION FEE
A nominal registration fees shall be charged i.e. Rs. 750/- (for Academicians and Professionals) and Rs. 500/- (for Students).
MODALITY OF COURSE
There will be two sessions per day. Each session will be of 11⁄2 hours in duration.
ONLINE PLATFORM
The online course shall be hosted on Google Meet. The meeting link shall be duly shared with all registered participants.
LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION
The last date of registration is April 15, 2023.
E-CERTIFICATES
Pursuant to the completion of the course, e-certificates will be provided to all the registered participants subject to attendance in all the sessions and submission of feedback forms after each session.
