CONTEXT
Information & Communication Technology has witnessed several ground-breaking advancements in the last century. The world has become a Global Village with ease in information dissemination & greater connectivity. Such advantages have, however, not been secured without any demerits. The misuse of these advancements has also grown & one such area is witnessing exponential crime growth in cyberspace. Cybercrimes, cyber law and forensics, and cyber security are all interrelated and intertwined. With the advent of technology, the threat to digital security has increased exponentially.
ABOUT CENTRE FOR CYBER LAWS AND SECURITY
Centre for Cyber Laws and Security (CCLS) under the aegis of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla (HPNLU), is a welcome initiative that will contribute to the development of a robust legal framework and effective strategies to combat cybercrime and enhance cyber security in India. The advancement in Information Technology has revolutionized almost all areas of human endeavour. Consequently, information security challenges and the vulnerability of cyberspace have resulted in a complex regulatory framework.
Call For Papers:
The conference invites research papers on the Multidisciplinary subjects of Law, Forensic Science, and Informational Technology. In preparing the abstracts of their proposed papers, we encourage prospective participants to engage with cyber law and forensics issues, as highlighted in the conference theme.
The Conference will be conducted in Blended (Physical and Virtual) Mode. The paper presentations will be in virtual mode only.

Guidelines for Submission
✓ The Abstract must be accompanied by a cover page, which should include the title of the paper, name(s) of the author(s) and their affiliations, resident country, and the complete postal and e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of the authors.
✓ Co-authorship is allowed for up to two authors, excluding the main author.
✓ The deadline to submit individual abstracts is 23rd April 2023.
✓ Please submit your abstract through email on [email protected]
✓ Participants will be notified by the 25th of April 2023 on the status of their submission.
✓ Accepted abstracts will be notified through email (You must provide a valid email address with
each abstract submission). Upon acceptance of abstracts, full papers must be submitted by 5th May 2023.

Registration charges for Academicians /other professionals: Rs. 1000/-
Registration charges for Research scholars/students: Rs. 500/-
Registration for witnessing the proceedings can be submitted any time on or before 25th April 2023. Certificates for actual participation shall be issued after the event’s completion or mailed after the conference’s completion.
No certificate shall be issued in absentia, and registration charges shall not be refunded at any stage.
