About the Organizer
School of Legal Studies (SLS) is one of the oldest law schools in India. Initially a part of Kerala
University in 1962, SLS joined the Cochin University family in the year 1971.
SLS has made valuable contributions to the study and research of law, offering LL.B, LL.M and PhD programs.
The International Law Students Association (ILSA) is a non-profit organization of students and
lawyers, formed to promote international law by providing students and lawyers with the
requisite opportunities to explore the international legal arena.
In its latest endeavour, the School of Legal Studies has introduced a chapter of the International
Law Students Association, for the promotion and advocacy of international law, study and
research Through the Research Colloquium, ILSA Chapter of the School of Legal Studies intends
to dive deep into the various facets of Public International Law and its contemporary
developments through spirited discussions, interactions and research opportunities.
What Are The Details Of The Course?
Courses Offered: 1. Public International Law in Practice (May 5 to 7)
2. Outer Space Law (July 7 to 9)
3. Maritime Law (September 15 to 17)
4. International Humanitarian Law (November 17 to 19)
Course Duration: Each certificate course will be for 3 days, with 2 sessions per day. (Total 12 hours per course).

Eligibility: open to all Undergraduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) students pursuing any
