About the Journal
Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society’s, Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College, Pimpri Pune’s biannual Journal Pimpri Law Review (PLR) is an academic amalgamation of students & faculty across law schools in India and abroad, as well as academics, scholars, lawyers, judges, and jurists. DPU’s Pimpri Law Review (PLR) is a double-blind peer-reviewed law journal with a number ISSN: 2583-5947 (Online) which is published bi-annually. Our team of editors includes a wide range or scholars, practitioners, judges, subject matter experts, faculty, and students.
Aim of the Journal
DPU’s PLR Journal has been established with intent to generate substantial legal commentary and authority on diverse legal concerns, leading to the development in colossal realm of law. We aim to offer a platform to legal scholars, around the globe, and help amplify their work. DPU’s PLR Journal is an enabling platform amplifying public concerns as regards to the assault on the Rights discourse, globally.

provided to all the authors published in each issue without any cost. The certificate is
provided to the author as soon as the publication is live.
Theme
Any contemporary socio-legal topic can be chosen for publication in PLR Journal. It also
promotes and publish interdisciplinary research in the field of law.
Who can submit?
All Academicians, Research Scholars, Lawyers, Law Students or Anyone with an interest in
the field of law and related disciplines can submit their original and unpublished manuscripts.
How to Submit
The authors can submit their manuscript via email at [email protected] and with the subject line of the email must mandatorily read as “PLR Submission: Issue 1 or Issue 2 kind of work being submitted”. E.g. “PLR Submission: Long Article”
Submission Categories
PLR invites original, unpublished manuscripts in the following categories:
I. Research Papers (3000-7000 words)
II. Long Articles (2500-4000 words)
III. Book Review (1000-3000 words)
IV. Case Notes and Legislative Comments (1000-3000 words)
Note: While it is mandatory to stick to the word counts for each category, the journal have all
rights reserved for word limits if the manuscript is of a high quality.

Submission Deadline: 15th May 2023 (Issue. 1: 1st July to 31st December AND Issue. 2: 1st January to 30th June)
Manuscript Processing Charges (To be paid after acceptance)
Single Authored: INR 800/-
Co-Authored: INR 1200/- (Up to 2 Authors)
This charge does not include a Hard Copy of the Certificate or Paper Booklet.
General Instructions
An article may be authored by up to 2 co-authors.
All works must be original and unpublished.
Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification for publication at PLR.
The first page of the manuscript should contain the title of the paper, the name of the authors, and their institutional affiliation, followed by an abstract.
The main body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman style, font size 12,
with 1.5 line spacing, and footnotes in Times New Roman Style, Size 10, with 1.5 line
spacing. All headings must have uniform formatting.
All footnotes should conform to the ILI Rules of Footnoting.
