ABOUT THE EVENT:
Law plays an important role in social transformation by having a direct impact on society. It has always been looked at as one of the important instruments that could bring about social change. Thus, social transformation is the modification in the way people work. As a result, social transformation entails changes in people’s working habits. Changes in technology, demography, competitiveness, conflict, ideology, political life, economic policy, and legal principles are all variables that contribute to social transformation. In an endeavor to promote excellence in legal research, the Alliance School of Law organizes an International Conference on Law and Social Transformation every year. This year the Conference will be held on 9th of September 2023.

PAPER SPECIFICATIONS
Abstract: Not more than 300 words and a minimum of relevant 5 keywords
Paper: Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of one author. However, both authors need to register separately. In the case of co-authorship, at least one author must attend the conference. To present the paper. No Proxy presentations are allowed. Both author and co-author need to pay separately.
Maximum Length: 6000 words including title/cover page and references.
Margins: 1” on all sides
Regular Font: Times New Roman, 12 points, Line spacing 1.5 justified
Title Font: Times New Roman, 14 points, bold, Line spacing 1.5
Footnotes: Times New Roman, font size 10 with a spacing of 1.0
Citation: Bluebook 20th Edn.
Similarity: Should not exceed 15%

Selected research papers will be published in an edited book form (Lex-Et-Mutatio) with ISBN Number. Two best research papers and one best presentation from each track will receive awards. However, papers not complying with the guidelines given above will not be accepted for publication.
The Book (Lex-Et-Mutatio) will be published and handed over to the authors on the day of the conference.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS
Alliance School of Law, Alliance University is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. The Alliance School of Law offers two five-year, integrated undergraduate courses in law, viz., Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law Honors – B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) and Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Law Honors – B.B.A LL. B. (Hons.), as well as 3-years LLB course that has been carefully crafted and designed to prepare its graduates for rewarding careers in various roles and responsibilities in legal service organizations. Alliance School of Law also offers a full-time, one-year Master of Law (LL.M.) degree with specializations in Constitutional and Administrative Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law, Criminal and Security Law, Taxation Law and Legal Pedagogy and Research, to develop strong research expertise in law and legal principles. Alliance School of Law also offers a Ph.D. programme. The Law School has established various centres for advanced legal studies and research, to facilitate engagements with various sections of society for deliberations over a variety of socio-legal issues through initiatives such as Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Books, Journals, Blogs, etc.
