Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Advocate at LEXIS AND COMPANY located in New Delhi. The Advocate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court. The Advocate will also be responsible for negotiating settlements and developing legal strategies.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Indian laws and legal procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research
• Experience in representing clients in court
• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university
• Master’s degree in Law or specialization in a specific area of law is a plus
• Experience in a law firm or legal department is preferred
• Fluency in English and Hindi is required, knowledge of other Indian languages is a plus
