About The Work From Home Job/internship
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic legal intern to join our DMCA (digital millennium copyright act) takedown department. As a legal intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in intellectual property rights protection and enforcement.
Selected Intern’s Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Assist in the preparation and sending of DMCA notices to individuals or entities infringing on our client’s digital assets
- Conduct research on copyright law and related legal issues to support the DMCA enforcement process
- Assist in reviewing and analyzing evidence of copyright infringement and drafting corresponding legal documents
- Collaborate with our legal team to develop strategies for protecting our client’s intellectual property rights
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of DMCA notices and related correspondence
- Stay up-to-date with copyright laws, regulations, and industry developments to ensure compliance and enhance our clients’ protection
Skills & Requirements
- Knowledge of the digital millennium copyright act (DMCA) and its application
- Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in legal research tools and resources
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
