Department of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, is introducing/commencing Summer Internship Programme to acquaint young law students with the working of the Department of Law, Justice & Legislative Affairs Govt. of NCT of Delhi, by giving training in the field of research & referencing work, tendering of legal advice in various specialized fields of law such as Constitutional & Administrative Law, Labour Laws, Conveyancing, Arbitration &
Contract Law /Legislative Process/ Subordinate Legislation etc. It is one of its kind initiative by the Department of Law, Justice and Legal Affairs, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, so as to give interns/students, an opportunity to gain practical experience/exposure in the working of this Department. This programme would offer a unique platform to law students to put their legal knowledge, skills and experience into practice. An acquaintance with grass root realities and intricacies of Law, would enrich the knowledge base of these students and hold them in good stead professionally, at a later stage.
Online Applications are invited for the Internship Programme in the Department of Law, Justice & LA, Govt. of NCT of Delhi”, for selection of candidates in terms of the Guidelines for the Internship, which are available on the website of the department www.law.delhi.gov.in
PERIOD
Initially, the internship is being offered during the months of July-August. The period of Summer Internship shall be for 6 weeks and the same shall commence
from 03.07.2023.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students who are pursuing studies:-
(i) in 2nd & 3rd year of three-year Law Degree Course or (ii) in 3rd to 5th year of five-year Law Degree Course from any recognized College/Law school/University.

The link for filing of the Online application form for Internship Programme – 2023, is available on the official website of the Department of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Last Date to apply for this programme is 26.06.2023 upto 5:00 p.m.
ACADEMIC CREDIT
The Certificates of Internship will be issued after assessment of the work done reports/ project reports submitted by interns.
