It is to inform you that the fourth edition of the Young Legal Researchers Conference will take place on Friday the 1st of December 2023 at the law faculty of the University of Hasselt. Their website: www.uhasselt.be/ylrc is updated with all the information that you need.
For those who are new to their conference: this conference is organized by and for legal PhD researchers and aims to inspire junior researchers in the field of research as well as to offer them the opportunity to build an international network.
This year’s edition will have the central theme “The role of law in shaping resilient and sustainable societies”. PhD researchers are invited to approach this central theme from their specific field of research in a presentation. You can find the call for abstracts in attachment.
Besides the possibility of presenting your research with a PowerPoint, we also give the possibility to submit a poster. We believe that legal research can be presented in a comprehensible and accessible manner. You can find the call for posters in attachment. We offer support to PhD researchers who are interested in submitting a poster.
After a hybrid edition last year, they have decided to organize this year’s conference solely in person. We believe this will have an added value to sharing your research and developing your network.
