Lateral Recruitment of Specialist Officers in MMGS II and MMGS Ill categories:
- Law Manager – MMGS II
- Law Manager- MMGS III
- The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India, depending on the requirement of the Bank.

Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must be either:
- a Citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st Jan. 1962 to permanently settle in India or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India,
- provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India.
- A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the interview but on final selection, the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.
Age: 25-35 years
Law Manager in MMGS-II
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a minimum of 60% marks aggregate of all semesters/years from a University / Institute recognized by Govt. of India or its Regulatory bodies
- and enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
- Post Graduate degree in Law will be preferable.
- Minimum 2 years PQE as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a Scheduled Commercial Bank/ State or Central Govt./ PSU, or
- PQE of at least 5 years as a practicing advocate independently or with any Law firm of good repute before a District Court / High Court or ORT.
Law Manager in MMGS-III
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a minimum of 60% marks aggregate of all semesters I years from a University / Institute recognized by Govt. of India or its Regulatory bodies
- and enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
- Post Graduate degree in Law will be preferable.
- Minimum 4 years PQE as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Bank/ State or Central Govt./ PSU, or
- PQE of at least 6 years as a practicing advocate independently or with any Law firm of good repute before a District Court or High Court or ORT out of which at least 1 year experience of working as a Law Officer in a Bank/ Financial institution.
