Day to day duties and responsibilities:
1) Legal Research: Conducting research on various legal issues, case laws, statutes, and legal precedents (India and US laws) to assist internal lawyer in his work. This may involve using online legal databases, libraries, and other resources.
2) Drafting Legal Documents: Assisting in the drafting and preparation of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, petitions, legal opinions, and other legal correspondence under the guidance of senior attorneys.
3) Legal Assistance: Observing legal proceedings and assisting attorneys in the preparation of cases. This may involve attending hearings, taking notes, and helping with the organization of case files.
4) Case Analysis: Analysing and summarizing legal documents, evidence, and case files to support attorneys in building their arguments and strategies.
5) Legal Interaction: This may involve preparing meeting agendas, and taking notes during discussions.
6) Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support to attorneys and legal teams, which may include organizing files, maintaining case databases, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
7) Document Review: Assisting in the review and analysis of legal documents, contracts, and agreements to identify potential legal risks or issues.
8) Legal Writing: Assisting in the preparation of legal memos, briefs, and research reports on various legal topics as assigned by senior attorneys.
9) Legal Compliance: Assisting in ensuring legal compliance by conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
10) Professional Development: Actively participating in legal seminars, workshops, and training programs to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
