About Journal for Law and Justice (JLJ)
Journal for Law and Justice (JLJ) is a flagship student-run journal of the Law Centre-II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, with the prime objective of promoting academic research and fostering legal acumen on contemporary legal issues.
Types of Submissions
The JLJ invites scholarly, original, unpublished articles, case notes and legislative comments, for its upcoming issue of Vol. I (2023) from legal scholars and researchers.
Suggested Themes
The Call for Papers is open for the following topics:
Current issues of legal significance, both at the national and international level,
• Recent developments and judicial pronouncements in the field of law,
• Comparative law and legal systems
• Interdisciplinary legal studies
Submission guidelines
General Instructions
- All works must be original and unpublished, and must not be pending for review before any other journal. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
- A maximum of two authors are allowed for a submission.
- While authors are advised to adhere to the word limits of each category, the journal may be flexible on the word limit depending on the quality of the article.
- Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts on current legal issues. Pieces scrutinising sub judice matters will be preferred.The decision on the acceptance of the manuscript for publication vests with the JLJ Editorial Board, which is final.Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts on current legal issues. - Authors are requested to employ gender-neutral language as much as possible.
