Programme Overview: The Diploma in Corporate Laws offered by the Indian Law Society is a broad-spectrum programme customised to cater to the needs of students and working legal professionals. An important part of laws and regulations companies must comply with is ensuring that creditors, customers and suppliers have the information they need in order to be able to do business with a company with confidence.

This programme is designed to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge in corporate and allied laws. This programme offers an in-depth background in a wide range of topics arising out of corporate laws, as well as allied laws such as Commercial Courts Act, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Competition Law, SEBI Regulations, IPR and Data Privacy. It also seeks to cover various facets of business and corporate legislation and includes study of Acts such as FEMA, Negotiable Instruments Act as well as covers important topics such as Corporate Taxation, Takeover Code, Labour Laws and Media Laws.

  • Fundamentals of Company Law
  • Management and control of a Company
  • Reconstruction and closure of a company
  • Allied laws (overview), Commercial Courts Act, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code,

Competition Law, SEBI regulations, IP, Negotiable Instruments Act, Labour laws and Environmental Laws

Eligibility               – II year LLB & BA LLB onwards, any graduate, professional

Duration                – 21st August to 21st December 2023, 100 hours of learning

Registration          – 4th August 2023 to 21st August 2023

Time, days             – 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm, Monday to Wednesday

Faculty                   – Senior Corporate Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries and Experts from Corporate Sector             

Fees                         – Rs. 16,949.15+Rs. 3050.85/- (18% GST) = Rs. 20000/-

Examination         

     1. MCQ 100 Marks (in google form)

  1. Case Book 50 Marks
  2. Presentation 30 Marks
  3. Drafting 50 Marks
  4. Article Review 50 Marks
  5. Attendance 20 Marks

      Total Assessment of 300 Marks

Course Material     – Will be provided.

Certification           – Certificate on completion of programme with 70% attendance and minimum score of 40% marks in the examination

Payment mode      – Online.  Only through Direct SBI, Net Banking and Credit Card.
