2nd National Youth Parliament Competition organised by IILM Law School, IILM University Gurugram

ILM Law School, Gurugram is pleased to announce the “2nd National Youth Parliament Competition 2023” to be held on 27th -28th October 2023. IILM Law School has been registered in the National Youth Parliament Scheme under the aegis of Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.

The Youth Parliament aims to enhance and strengthen the understanding of our country’s socio-political, socio-legal, and socio-economic fabric. It is a recreation of the place where legislators structure policies, frame laws, and discuss and debate issues affecting many lives.

Schedule of the Event: The event is spread across two days: Day I- Lok Sabha on the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Bill 2023. Day- II All India Political Party Meet on Uniform Civil Code. 

Reward: The winners will get an exciting Cash prize and Certificates will be given to the participants.

About the Organisers
IILM has a legacy of excellence in responsible management education since 1993. IILM University, Gurugram has been set up under The Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2018 in Sector 53 Gurugram.

  • As a member of the Executive Board, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the Mock Parliament and ensuring its success. Your responsibilities will include:
    Leadership: Collaborating with fellow board members to set objectives and goals for the Youth Parliament and guiding the overall vision.
    Event Planning: Organizing parliamentary sessions, debates, and workshops, and overseeing logistics to ensure smooth operations.
    Participant Engagement: Facilitating discussions, encouraging active participation, and providing guidance to participants in parliamentary procedures.
    Promotion and Outreach: Promoting the Youth Parliament within the university community, attracting participants, and managing communication channels.
    Policy Development: Assisting in the formulation of debate topics, resolutions, and parliamentary rules to create an enriching experience.

Your demonstrated commitment and relevant prior experience (if any) would make you an ideal candidate for this role. By joining the Executive Board, you will have the chance to make a lasting impact on the university’s academic and co-curricular landscape.

Eligibility
The Competition is open to Undergrad, Post Grade Students from all disciplines.
