Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur, invites applications for multiple
research positions under the joint Research Project titled “Investigating the Impact of
Sukanya Samridhi Yojna: An Empirical Study of Punjab, Maharashtra, and Kerala”. This
project is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
Project Overview:
The research project aims to analyse the impact of the Sukanya Samridhi Yojana (SSY)
scheme launched by the Government of India in the states of Punjab, Maharashtra, and
Kerala. The study will specifically focus on accounts in the Head Post Offices of all the
districts within these states. It will also assess awareness and satisfaction regarding the SSY
scheme in these regions. The research will involve the development of tools to measure the
scheme’s performance, in-depth interviews with experts, pilot studies, and data collection.
Furthermore, the project will investigate the scheme’s influence on financial inclusion and its
social impact.

Field Investigator (3 Posts)
Duration: 2 Months (November & December 2023)
Work Locations:
One for each Locale of the study , Nagpur, Patiala, and Cochin
