Job Description
- Filing appeals at DRP, ITAT, High Court Supreme Court (in coordination of the consultants)
- Provide details for preparation of paper books, appeals etc to be filed ITAT, HC , Supreme Court
- Maintenance of litigation tracker for all Capgemini entities and keep track of all the hearing in respect of ongoing litigations for Capgemini Indian entities at various forums
- Work closely with the Tax head on the litigation strategy
- Seeking Opinions for Senior Counsel for Tax Issues arising from time to time
- Seeking Most Likely than Not opinions from consultants in respect of Orders received on a time basis for Audit purposes
- Reporting the litigations related details including demand, taxes paid etc to the Management from time to time as part of MIS
- Estimating the out flow of tax on crystallisation of demand (and ensuring timely payments If any) and ensure that the Stay applications are filed from time to time
- Analysing decisions of ITAT, HC , Supreme Court and update on a timely basis on its impact on ongoing litigation for Capgemini Indian Entities
Primary Skills
- Corporate Taxation.

- Analysing decisions relative to Corporate Tax and appeals
- Must be a CA / Lawyar
- Must be willing to work at Mumbai, Airoli location
