Job Title: Legal Intern

Job Description: As part of this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting Vaia Climate in its ESG efforts on behalf of clients. You will be responsible for leading cutting-edge research on ESG laws and regulations, ESG rating metrics, international and Indian ESG standards and guidelines and creating a repository of ESG best practices.
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree from a reputed law university;
- A keen understanding of ESG laws/ regulations and interest in corporate governance;
- Relevant internship or work experience at law firms/ VC funds/ think tanks/ startups/ research organizations;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced work environment;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Prior experience in conducting due diligence and research on sustainable development is an added advantage.
