The George Washington University Law School is pleased to announce the availability of a graduate Fellowship beginning in July 2024 for a twelve-month, renewable appointment. The Fellow will have the title of Visiting Associate Professor of Law and Environmental Law Program Fellow. This Fellowship offers many advantages, with opportunities and professional connections available across the

Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have:
• a J.D. (or equivalent international degree);
• an LL.M. in environmental law, a J.D. concentration in environmental law or a related field, or a master’s degree in a related field;
• strong academic writing, research, and organizational skills;
• environmental law practice experience, teaching experience, published environmental law scholarship, or comparable demonstration of commitment to environmental law;
• interest in pursuing an academic, research-focused, or public interest career in environmental law;
• interest in advancing new program initiatives such as launching and managing a podcast on environmental law issues and supporting the administration of an Earth Law Moot Court Competition in 2024;
• collaborative event management experience and strong communications skills; and
• professional experience in social media engagement.
