Formatting guidelines
1. All submissions must be in Microsoft Word format with a one-inch margin
on all sides.
2. The text must be in Times New Roman with a font size of 12 and line
spacing of 1.5.
3. Footnotes must be in Times New Roman, font size 10 with single line
spacing
4. Citations must conform to the Bluebook Uniform Style of Citation (21
st ed.
2020). Check www.legalbluebook.com
Submission guidelines
1. All submissions must be original and unpublished work of the author/s and
should not have been submitted, accepted or published elsewhere.
2. Co-authorship is allowed (maximum of 2 authors).
3. Articles will pass through blind peer review and acceptance will be subject to
the report of the peer review team.
4. Articles found plagiarized will be summarily rejected.
5. Submit the soft copy of your manuscript along with a covering letter
6. The covering letter must contain the following details.
a. Title of the paper, category (specify if it is Article/Essay/Case
Comment/ Legislative Comment/ Book Review)
b. Name of the authors/occupation, designation & name of the
institution, email id, mobile phone no and contact address.
7. Kindly note that to keep confidentiality for peer review, these details shall
only be mentioned in the cover page and nowhere else in the paper.
8. Submission of abstract (of 300 words with key words) and full paper to
be emailed to salgaocarlawreview@vmslaw.edu.in within the specified date.

January 15, 2024 Communication of acceptance status of abstract
February 26, 2024 Submission of full paper
March 13, 2024 Communication of acceptance status of full paper
March 25, 2024 Communication of recommendations/suggestions of
peer review
April 5, 2024 Submission of paper with changes, suggested, if any
