Raffles University Neemrana, established by an Act of Rajasthan State Legislature, as per
Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956, is a multi-disciplinary university providing world-class
education through its various schools.
ABOUT SCHOOL OF LAW :
School of Law conventionally runs Law Clinics that provide legal services to those who
cannot, otherwise, access these services. With the help of the District Legal Services Authority,
under the banner of Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, the school has been
continuously running legal clinic movements and has, had a large impact on access to legal
services, to the local community.

The University is privileged to announce the organization of the 8th Edition of our flagship
event, C.L. AGRAWAL MEMORIAL NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION,
2024. This competition is being organized in collaboration with ‘Rajasthan Education Trust’,
a public charitable trust based out of Jaipur. The trust is chaired by Hon’ble Justice S. C.
Agrawal, Former Justice, Supreme Court of India. Being inspired by the works of Late
Shri. C.L. Agrawal.
DETAILS OF THE OPPORTUNITY :
AIM & PURPOSE :
C.L. Agrawal Memorial National Moot Court Competition has been conceived with the aim
of creating opportunities for learning the development of jurisprudence on emerging trends in
law besides developing cutting edge skills in research, writing and advocacy.
THE COMPETITION SHALL BE HELD IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
ELIGIBILITY & TEAM COMPOSITION :
(i) Each team shall comprise of three (3) members out of which two (2) will be speakers and
one (1) researcher. An observer is allowed to be brought to the competition with a condition
that he/ she shall not intervene in any proceedings.
(ii)The competition is open for bonafide students pursuing 5 Years and 3 Years Law programs
in India.
(iii) Each Law College shall be eligible to send one team. Each team shall be provided with
the TEAM CODE. Team should not disclose the identity of their institution in course of
proceedings in the court rooms; such disclosure shall invite penalties including
disqualification.
REGISTRATION :
(i) The teams are requested to send an e- copy of the Registration Form to
[email protected] on or before 21-02-2024.
(ii) A registration fee (Non- Refundable) of Rs. -4500 /- (Rupees Four Thousand and Five Hundred Only) is to be paid by way of Online Money Transfer / UPI / Paytm / Google in favour of Raffles University. The charges for observer will be Rs. 800 (Eight Hundred
only) per day.
(iii) Payment to be done by online mode. Details are as follows:

(iv) No change in the names of the participants shall be permitted after the receipt of
the Registration Form, except at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
(v) Teams should clearly mention the participants name including year/ semester of
study.
(vi) The moot court will be conducted on Date: 8th March to 10th March 2024.
The inauguration function will commence sharp at 04:00 PM on 08/03/2024 followed by
draw of lots.
DRESS CODE :
Inside the court room, the participants must strictly follow the below-mentioned dress code.
(i) Females: White Salwar kurta & Dupatta or white shirt and black Trousers along with
black coat and tie.
(ii) Males: White shirt, black trousers, black tie along with black coat and black shoes.
COMPETITION ROUNDS :
There shall be Two Preliminary Rounds, Octa-Finals, Quarter-Finals, Semifinals, and a
Final Round spreading over a period of 3 Days.
AWARDS :
(i) Rs. 20,000/- Cash Prize and Trophy to the Winners.
(ii) Rs. 10,000/- Cash Prize and Trophy to the Runner ups.
(iii) Rs. 5000/- Cash Prize and Trophy to the Best Speaker.
(iv) Rs. 7000/- Cash Prize and Trophy for the Best Memorial.
