About the job
A qualified and Registered Patent Agent required with at least 5 years of post qualification professional working experience (not internships). As a minimum, in addition to being a registered patent agent the candidate should also at least have a Master’s degree in any science subject and should be able to independently perform the following tasks:
Patent Searching, Drafting, Filing, Prosecution and associated administrative tasks.
Applications will be assessed to a high standard and applicant’s are advised to apply only if they are competent and experienced in the practise of Patent Law, and not merely interested or have basic experience. Unsuitable applications are liable to be summarily rejected and prior experience in other areas of IP law, such as Trademarks, Copyrights, etc. will be given no consideration at all, as a Patent associate is required.
Remuneration: INR 55,000 – 65,000/month (depending on qualification and experience).
