About the Competition 
The Debate and Literary Cell and the Symbiosis Centre for Legal and Business Conference (SCLBC) of Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur are organizing the Symbiosis Law School Nagpur’s Model United Nations (MUN), 2024 for students of 9th to 12th and Undergraduates, on the 27th and 28th of January, 2024.
 
Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation that imitates the procedures of the United Nations, an international organisation. It provides students with an opportunity to learn
about international relations, diplomacy, and the workings of the UN. However SLS MUN 2024 shall be a confluence of UN and non-UN committees.The event is organised as a conference where students, often representing different countries, take on the roles of delegates to discuss and debate global issues, propose solutions, and draft
resolutions for the same.

The SLS Nagpur MUN 2024 would consist of four committees, namely, the Chamber of Commerce, FIFA, the Legal Committee and the UNSC, the agendas of which are mentioned herewith.1. Chamber of Commerce: Rise of Artificial Intelligence: An Ally or Adversary?
2. FIFA: Analysis of FFP Rules and Transfer Market.
3. Legal Committee: Legality and Ethics of Genetic Engineering.
4. UNSC: Examining the need for cessation of Nuclear Arms Race to prevent Unilateral Dominance.
