We have been retained by reputed MNC for recruitment of Legal Manager based out of their HO at Mumbai.
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as Legal Manager based at Mumbai. The Incumbent, qualified LLB/LLM having 3-5 years of experience, will be managing the legal compliances for the company reporting into Legal Head. The position will oversee the development and implementation of compliance programs and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that all departments consistently meet regulatory requirements. The role will also be responsible in assisting identifying and addressing potential compliance risks.
Qualifications and Experience
· Qualified LLB/LLM, having 3-5 years of experience with large corporate/law firm.
· Ensure the compliance tool monitoring, updating and tracking of each department’s compliances, query resolution, escalation management and report generation.
· Co-ordination with the circle level & regional level functional and operational employees for seeking responses, clarification on non-compliances, extracting and reporting of information received.
· Contribute to the development and roll-out of training and awareness programs on compliance
· Expert in drafting, vetting, reviewing, and managing the legal documents, contracts, MOU, addendums etc. Handling the contract management system, creating the digital repository of contracts, and tracking all the approvals of the contract
· Monitoring and handling of litigation and cases across India by way of active support in documentation, review of petitions, complaints, plaints, notices & their replies, MIS tracking, report generation etc.
· Handling of internal and external legal work of stake holders.
· Participating in the industry level forum discussion, taking notes, briefing legal head and working on the strategies decided.
· Ability to work autonomously
· Flexible and willing to work in a rapidly evolving environment
· Excellent understanding of compliance management tools
· Attention to detail with sharp observation skills
· Open to travel different location for compliance management
· Ability to engage and work with multiple executives and other senior stakeholders across the business.
· Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications
