Call for Chapters! for an Edited Book! INTERSECTIONALITY OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS: A SOCIO-LEGAL PERSPECTIVE FROM INDIA!
Conceptual Background of the Book
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Assessment Report 6 (AR6), published in 2021 stated that the recent climate change is “widespread, rapid, intensifying and unprecedented in thousands of years.” It further noted: “Climate change is already affecting every region on Earth in multiple ways. The changes we experience will increase with further warming.”
Eligibility:
Chapter proposals are invited from academicians, research scholars, policy makers, policy consultants, climate activists, government representatives, think tanks, legal practitioners, students, business and industry leaders and other stakeholders.
Important Dates:
- Submission of Abstract: June 10, 2024
- Abstract Acceptance Notification: June 20, 2024
- Full Chapter Submission: July 15, 2024
- Acceptance/Revision Notification: August 02, 2024
- Revised Chapter Submission: August 12, 2024
- Acceptance/ Rejection Notification: August 15, 2024
Publication Policy:
The proposed Book will be published with a reputed publishing house with an ISBN number. The editors aim to submit the proposal to the publishers by the end of May. On acceptance of the proposal, contributors would have approximately a month to submit full chapters. There is no submission charge. However, authors will have to pay a publishing fee, if required by the publisher.
