ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The certificate programme on ‘International Refugee Law and Practice’ is jointly offered by the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The programme aims to upskill and train relevant stakeholders about the rights and legal protection of the refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced and stateless people. This certificate programme is specifically designed for government officials, judicial officers, lawyers, academicians, people working with civil society organizations and persons interested in upgrading their knowledge in the domain of International Refugee Law.

ELIGIBILITY

Anyone enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, doctoral, or postdoctoral program at any university is eligible to enroll in the program.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Government officials, judicial officers, legal practitioners, academicians, civil society organizations, research scholars, students among other stakeholders or persons interested in exploring the domain of refugee law and practice.
