About NLU Tripura
The National Law University Tripura (NLUT) is established in 2022 by a Statute (Act No. 3 of 2022) of the State of Tripura. The foundation of the University was laid by Her Excellency Smt. Draupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India which reflects its commitment to excellence in legal education. Chief Justice of High Court of Tripura is the Chancellor of the University. University offers a wide-ranging array of programs, including the five-year integrated B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D.` NLUT accepts students through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission to its B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) LL. M. programmes. NLUT is committed to the creation of an ethical legal culture, which protects and promotes the rule of law and social justice. Under the guidance of its founding Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Pratap Singh, a team of highly qualified faculty is dedicated to make NLUT, a beacon of legal education in Northeastern India.

College Level- Eligibility Criteria
UG/PG Students of any Recognized College/University
- 1st Prize- INR 7K
- 2nd Prize- INR 5K
- 3rd Prize- INR 3K
Important Dates
- Last date of Registration- May 31, 2024
- Last date of Essay Submission- June 15, 2024
- The Competition Results will be announced and published on July 1, 2024, on NLU Tripura’s official website at: https://nlutripura.ac.in/
