About the Internship
Kalra Law Chambers is taking law students who are looking for monthly internships during the upcoming months of 2024.
Eligibility
- Enrolled in a reputed law institution.
- Pursuing 5 or 3-year law courses.
Responsibilities
- Researching legal issues, case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing cases or projects.
- Assisting in drafting legal documents such as contracts, agreements, memoranda, and legal opinions under the supervision of senior attorneys.
- Assisting in preparing for meetings, hearings, and court proceedings by organizing case files, reviewing documents, and summarizing key points.
- Participating in client meetings, interviews, and consultations to gain exposure to client relations and legal counselling.
- Accompanying attorneys to court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings to observe courtroom procedures and assist as needed.
- Providing administrative support to the legal team, such as filing documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining case files.
- Assisting in drafting legal correspondence, briefs, motions, and other written submissions for submission to courts, regulatory bodies, or opposing parties.
- Assisting in compliance-related tasks, such as reviewing regulatory requirements, drafting compliance policies, and conducting compliance audits.
- Assisting with special research projects, legal publications, client newsletters, or other firm initiatives as assigned by supervising attorneys.
- Actively participating in legal training sessions, seminars, and workshops organized by the firm to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
