CALL FOR PAPERS! 2nd meeting of the Emerging Scholars Group! at Alwar, Rajasthan (India) from 14–16 March 2025!
The Emerging Scholars Group (ESG), an initiative of the Insolvency Law Academy (ILA) is pleased to announce the nd hosting of the 2 meeting of the Emerging Scholars Group. The ESG meeting and the Insolvency Scholars Forum will th th convene in Alwar, Rajasthan (India) from 14–16 March 2025.
This 2 ESG meeting aims to provide a forum for emerging scholars to present their research to their peers and to experienced scholars.
We are particularly interested in submissions in the following areas:
l Sustainability in insolvency procedures
l Insolvency reforms in emerging market and developing economies (EMDEs)
l Cross-border insolvency
l Financial institutions in distress
Attendance to the conference is free for those presenting papers.
However, the accommodation and travel expenses will be borne by the participants. The ESG Steering Committee is pleased to announce that this year, there will be a limited number of academic grants to facilitate the attendance to the conference. These grants are allocated by ILA, in consultation with ESG, on a competitive basis.

Please send a one-page abstract (max. 400 words) together with your affiliation, preferred contact th details and brief biographical note (max. 200 words) by no later than 30 September 2024. If you are applying to the grant, please explain why attendance to the meeting is important to you, and what benefits you expect to obtain from its attendance.
