CALL FOR PAPERS! NonIncrimInA Conference ! 7 November 2024 to, 8 November 2024 KU Leuven, Campus Brussels!
The NonIncrimInA Conference offers a platform for an in-depth discussion on routes, aspects and perspectives of the nemo tenetur principle in criminal proceedings and different types of administrative proceedings as well as in OLAF investigations.
The two-day Conference, which will take place on 7 and 8 November 2024, includes a seminar and a workshop, and it will provide an opportunity for academics and stakeholders to engage in a dialogue on the essential features of the nemo tenetur principle, on the degree of its protection outside of the realm of stricto sensu criminal proceedings and on proposed guidelines to ensure a common standard of protection of this principle across domains and jurisdictions.
Interested researchers are invited to submit an abstract. Abstracts (max. 300 words) should be sent to [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] no later than 31 July 2024.
Applicants will be informed of the selection made by 9 August 2024.
Selected researchers will present their papers in person. Unfortunately, travel and accommodation costs cannot be reimbursed.
