ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Participating in client counseling competitions is a dynamic and immersive experience for law students to demonstrate their prowess in conducting client interviews, just like practicing attorneys. These competitions involve simulated initial interviews with clients, portrayed by actors or other participants, to effectively address the client’s legal needs, offer preliminary legal advice, and propose potential courses of action. It’s a valuable opportunity for students to refine their counseling skills in a realistic and demanding environment. By taking part in these competitions, students can enhance their abilities in legal analysis, active listening, communication, time management, client-centered lawful approach, empathy, and teamwork.
The Manipal University Jaipur, 1st International Client Counselling Competition 2024 is going to be organized by the Department of Law.
The Competition shall be conducted for 3 days from 4th September 2024 to 6th September 2024 in ONLINE MODE through Google Meet.
ELIGIBILITY
Students enrolled in three-year and five-year law degree programs at any University/School/College/Department are eligible to register their team.
However, students from post-graduate programs, law diploma programs, or part-time law programs are not permitted to participate.
Additionally, a maximum of two teams from a specific University/Law School/College/Department are allowed to participate.
