Our trainees are vital to the continued success of Digby Brown and play an integral part in ensuring that we remain Scotland’s largest personal injury firm.
If you are passionate about helping people, have a keen interest in litigation and a strong desire to succeed, then we can offer you an interesting and challenging traineeship that will provide excellent training and hands-on experience from the start.
Taking place over two years, you will be based in one of our offices across Scotland – Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Kirkcaldy, Aberdeen or Ayr.
Expertise
As part of our traineeship programme, dependent on the department you are allocated to, you will gain experience of the following case types:
- Road Traffic Accidents – Car, cycling, motorcycle, pedestrian and public transport
- Work Related Accidents – Agriculture and farming, construction industry and factory
- Serious and Fatal Claims – Brain injury, fatal accident, loss of limb and spinal injury
- Accidents Abroad – Road traffic accident, whilst on holiday and working abroad
Learning and Development
We are committed to making sure that you receive the best training opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential over the course of your traineeship and beyond.
We provide an in-house, accredited PEAT 2 course, as part of your Trainee Continuing Professional Development (TCPD). In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to attend LEP sessions run by our people, which cover a wide range of legal topics. We also run an Advocacy Skills programme and an annual case update day.
